Saturday, May 18

Oakesdale – 10:30 a.m. – Couponing & Money Saving – Money saving guru and avid couponer Andrea Thompson shares great money saving ideas and tips.

Albion & Palouse – Gardening Classes – Horticulturist Donna Hansen teaches gardening classes in two locations. Check the Events Calendar for topics and times.

Rosalia – 2 p.m. – Build Your Business – Discover all the help available to turn your passion, something you might really love into a business with Dave McKenzie from SCORE.

Sunday, May 19

Colfax & Farmington – Container Gardening – Don’t have a big yard? Learn how to raise flowers and vegetables on the patio. Check the calendar for times.

Lamont – 1 to 3 p.m. – Lamont Community Potluck – Join Clancy Pool at the Lamont Community Building as she explains all the services available through WCL.

Monday, May 20

Colfax – 3 to 5 p.m. – Medicare Monday –Sort out your Medicare questions with Gary Schmick.

Tuesday, May 21

Colfax – 4 p.m. – Board of Trustees Meeting – Open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend.

Wednesday, May 22

Colfax – Noon – Planned Over Cooking – Join instructor Carrie Johnson as she demonstrates some fantastic dinner ideas with leftover rotisserie chicken.

Garfield – 4 p.m. – Perler Beads Craft – Teens are invited to make key chains using perler beads

Tekoa – 6:30 p.m. – Teen Night Out – Teens are invited to play Wii, board games or just hang out.

Thursday, May 23

Colfax – 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. – Community Blood Drive – Help give the gift of life.

Endicott – 7 p.m. – Book Club – Join the discussion of Jeanette Walls’, “The Glass Castle” at the newly remodeled Endicott Library.
