Monday, Mar. 18

Colfax – 6:30 pm – Belly Dance - Gypsy Spirit Belly Dance offers free classes every Monday.

Tuesday, Mar. 19

Palouse – 3:45 p.m. – Chess Club – Learn and share the art and skill of chess playing.

Colfax – 4 p.m. – Board of Trustees Meeting – Open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend.

Colfax – 6 p.m. – Book Club Meeting – Join the discussion of “Hitching Rides with Buddha” by Will Ferguson at the Colfax Golf Course. Everyone is welcome!

Wednesday, Mar 20

Colfax – Noon to 1 p.m. – Compost - Judi Gray from the Whitman County Recycling Department demonstrates how to turn ordinary household waste into compost.

Tekoa – 2 to 4:30 p.m. – Ladies Craft Circle – Bring your project to work on while sharing and visiting with friends every Wednesday.

Uniontown – 3:15 p.m. – After School Science - Elementary students are invited to After School Science with hands on experiments.

Thursday, Mar 21

Colfax, Colton, LaCrosse, Farmington & Tekoa – 3rd Thursday Clubs – Exciting after school programs in five locations. Check the calendar for times and themes.

Colfax, LaCrosse & Tekoa – Storytime - Fun stories, finger plays, rhymes, songs and crafts every Thursday. Check the calendar for times and themes.

Friday, Mar 22

Endicott, St. John & Uniontown – Preschool Storytime – Bring in the little ones for fun stories, songs, crafts and adventures every Friday. Check the calendar for times and themes.

Monday, Mar 25

St. John – 10:30 a.m. – Lapsit Storytime - Moms, babies and toddlers are having a special day with fun. Miss Nichole is coming from Colfax with finger plays, songs and stories.

Colfax – 2:15 to 5:30 p.m. – Community Blood Drive – Help give the gift of life.

Tekoa – 3 to 5 p.m. – Tween Night Out – Kids in grades 4-6 are invited to rule the library, play Guitar Hero and other Wii games or just hang out.

Garfield – 4 p.m. – Stop! Motion - Learn the history and principles of film and animation while creating your own claymation. Ages 10 and up are invited.

Tuesday, Mar 26

Palouse – 3:45 p.m. – Chess Club – Learn and share the art and skill of chess playing.

Oakesdale – 6 p.m. – Book Club – Join us for a potluck dinner and great book discussion. Contact Branch Manager, Michelle at (509) 285-4310 for more information.

Wednesday, Mar 27

Garfield – 1 to 2 p.m. – Egg Hunt! – The Garfield Library hosts an egg hunt for children ages 10 and under.

Malden – 1 to 3:30 p.m. – GED Prep Class - Class meets every Wednesday at no cost to the student. For more information contact Kathy Wilkes at (509) 850-6492.

Thursday, Mar 28

Albion, Endicott & Rosalia – After School Program - Exciting after school programs in 3 locations. Check the calendars for times and locations.

Colfax – 6:30 p.m.– United Arab Emirates, Rags to Riches – Join Randy Suess as he narrates a travelogue of the United Arab Emirates.
