Thursday, Nov. 15

Colfax, LaCrosse & Tekoa – Storytime – Fun stories, finger plays, rhymes, songs and crafts every Thursday. Check the calendar for times and themes.

Friday, Nov. 16

Colfax – 4-5:30 p.m.- Electronic Download Workshop – Carolyn Petersen from Washington State Library will have different electronic devices on hand and demonstrates how to use Washington Anytime Library.

Saturday, Nov. 17

Colfax – 2 p.m. – Spanish Storytime for Niños – Books, finger plays and songs in both English and Spanish for children 3-7.

Sunday, Nov. 18

Colfax – 2 p.m. – Mahlon Kriebel Book Presentation – Local author Mahlon Kriebel discusses his new book, “Battle of To-Hots-Nim-Me.”

Monday, Nov. 19

Colfax – 3-5 p.m. – Medicare Monday –Sort out your Medicare Supplement questions with local financial advisor Gary Schmick.

Tuesday, Nov. 20

Colfax – noon – Create a Thanksgiving Centerpiece under the direction of Judi Dunn Gray from Whitman County Recycling and Waste Reduction. Colfax – 2:30-5:30 p.m. – Community Blood Drive – Help give the gift of life. Palouse – 3:45 p.m. – Chess Club – Learn and share the art and skill of chess playing. Colfax – 4 p.m. – Board of Trustees Meeting – Open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend.

Wednesday, Nov. 21

Garfield – 11am- 2:30 p.m. – Thankful Turkey Project – Make a simple turkey out of handprints and then write what you are thankful for on its body.

Thursday, Nov. 22

Palouse – 7:45 a.m. – The 7th Annual Turkey Leg Fund Raiser – Benefits the Palouse Library and it’s children and young adult core collection books, as well as providing scholarships to for the GAR-PAL High School Seniors.

Carolyn Petersen from Washington State Library is hosting an electronic download workshop on Friday, November 16 from 4-5:30 p.m. in the Colfax Library. Join Petersen as she demonstrates how to use Washington Anytime Library and will have many different electronic devices in hand.
