Randy Suess hosts cultural exploration series

Randy and Laurie SuessTake an armchair adventure through the exotic Middle East with Randy Suess, local Colfax famer, Wednesdays October 2, 9 and 16 from 6 to 8 pm. Over the three week series, you’ll learn about historical and biblical sites, commerce, culture and more from Egypt, Yemen, Eritrea, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates. Randy Suess farms just north of Colfax, growing winter wheat, spring wheat, and peas. He previously taught school in Steptoe for 9 years before returning to the family farm in 1985. Randy and his wife Laurie (photo left) have been married for 32 years and have two grown children.
