On the first Tuesday of each month, two local Yoga instructors are volunteering their services to benefit important local causes and organizations within the community. This month’s session takes place on Tuesday, February 7 from 5:30-7 p.m. in the Colfax Library with “Pie and Bingo” a free program for Whitman County seniors benefiting.

Pie and Bingo is provided the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 2-4 p.m. in the Colfax Branch of Whitman County Library. With as many as 40 seniors attending, proceeds help to purchase pie and other supplies for the popular sessions.

The February 7th yoga class is ideal for beginners or those who are more familiar with Yoga. The first hour consists of a Vinyasa flow with a quick break at 6:30 to move into the Restorative phase. Participants can stay for the entire class or use the break to come and go.

Special thanks to instructors Suzy McNeilly and Crystn Guenthner for providing Yoga for a Cause.
