Voter forum video
To
assist local voters, a primary candidate forum was
held on Tues, July 17 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Colfax
Branch of Whitman County Library. Sponsored by the
Library, The Pullman League of Women Voters and The
Whitman County Gazette, candidates vying for
Commissioner #1 and Commissioner #2 in Whitman County
took part.

Candidates who participated were Greg Partch, Republican; Art Swannack, Republican; and Bill Tensfeld, Republican running for Commissioner Position #1, and Pat O’Neill, Democrat and Dean Kinzer, Republican running for Commissioner Position #2.
Primary election ballots will be mailed on July 20. The two candidates with the highest votes will be on the ballot for the general election in November.
