Photos with Santa December 6

Save the date-December 6th for Santa Pictures @ the Library

On December 6, Santa comes to the library from 3-6 p.m. to hear children’s toy requests. Photos will be available for as low as $15 from Janet Leifer Photography. Kids will also enjoy refreshments and an ornament making station.

At 6 p.m. Santa joins Mrs. Claus for the lighted Christmas Parade on Mill Street along with a culminating fireworks extravaganza, hot chocolate at the First Baptist Church and more.

If you can’t make either of these events, you’ll still want to visit the Colfax Library where a number of beautiful trees will remain on display. These include the Hospice Tree of Lights bearing a tribute of names, a tree filled with handmade ornaments from Boy Scout Troop 595 and the Friends of Whitman County Library’s reading themed tree. Along with the Reading Tree, the Friends are conducting a book drive seeking donations of new and lightly used books to be given to the Colfax Fireman’s Toybox for inclusion in their gift drive. If you’d like to donate books for this cause, please give the library a call at 509-397-4366.

Janet Leifer Photography is taking Santa pictures on Dec. 6th from 3-6 pm. The price packages range from $15-$25. Please call the library for details or check out:
