18th Annual Family Fair, Saturday April 26
Are you looking for a fun-filled Saturday event for the whole family? The 18th Annual Family Fair is April 26 at Lincoln Middle School in Pullman. This event features more than 30 organizations and agencies serving the Palouse region for a day of free activities. Agency booths have resource information along with a youth activity or exhibit. All attendees have a chance to win one of many fabulous door prizes.
Family Fair is in conjunction with National Healthy Kids Day sponsored by WSU YMCA. Some of the Y's activities include a Fun Run at 12:30 p.m. on the LMS track, (no fee or pre-registration required), and an obstacle course. Stop by the Whitman County Library and Neill Public Library table to spin the prize wheel and ask about upcoming programs for all ages.
Family Fair is free and open to children of all ages and their parents, grandparents and caregivers. Family Fair is a celebration of life and an opportunity to highlight services provided by many area agencies to local families. Family Fair also provides area agency representatives to network and become more aware of the unique roles served to support families.
Family Fair 2014 is organized by the Palouse Resource Network for Families, a consortium of community agencies and community partners in collaboration with WSU YMCA and the Pullman School District.
