ACT 2 Classes Summer 2018

Sign-ups are now being accepted for summer enrichment classes set to start in late August at the Colfax Library. Interested parties are encouraged to sign up early to avoid cancellations of the classes.

“Downsizing: Prisoner of Your Possessions” is offered Tuesday, August 21 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. Instructor DeAnne Wilfong guides you through a step-by-step approach for letting go of your “stuff.”

“Don’t Downsize & Organize: De-Own” also falls on Tuesday, August 21 from 5-7:30 p.m. In this class, Wilfong teaches that organizing your possessions is often just a temporary fix, while de-owning can be a time-saving and often, a freeing solution.

On Tuesday, August 28 from 1-4:30 p.m. Kathy Dugan teaches “Medicare: what you need to know when you turn 65.” Learn about Medicare A, B, C, D, Compare advantage plans and more.

Classes being added to the lineup are “Gluten-free Living 101,” “Introduction to Ukulele,” “Introduction to Self-Publishing,” and “Using Flash to Improve Fiction and Non-Fiction Writing Skills.”

These non-credit classes are provided at a very low cost by Community Colleges of Spokane, registration is available at any Whitman County Library branch or by calling (800) 845-3324.
