Artist reception on Wed., July 19 in Colfax

The colorful Palouse by Tom Mohr

The community is invited to an open-house reception for photographer Tom Mohr on Wednesday, July 19 from 5-7 p.m. at The Center at Colfax Library. This event will feature complimentary hors d’oeuvres, a no host beer and wine bar, and the stunning local photography of Tom Mohr and his newest exhibit, “Why I moved to Colfax, Chapter 2.”

Last fall, Mohr regularly fielded the “Why did you move to Colfax?” Mohr responded with a photography exhibit of regional events and panoramic landscapes that was called “Why I moved to Colfax.” The exhibit was so popular that Mohr updated it with “Chapter 2” which will be on display in The Center through August 4. This event is sponsored by Friends of Whitman County Library and a portion of any sales benefits the Center. The Center at Colfax Library is located at 102 S. Main and the exhibit is open Mondays – Wednesdays 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., Thursdays – Fridays 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 1-5 p.m.
